Sweetened is an indica-dominant phenotype that yields clarity and energizing effects.  Sweetened’s  quick and long-lasting  effects will send you off to a restful evening of uninterrupted  sleep and pain, minus all of the other effects that tend to impede the Hemp experience. Aside from feeling relaxed and content, Sweetened  grows to a  level of creativity, with a smoothly euphoric state, that melts away cognitive stress and makes room for a more charming mood.  Sweetened  really encourages productivity or motivation, so it really does wonders for those who just want to relax  without having to wrestle with their thoughts and that couch lock effect that CBD is infamous for. Sweetened is also a real good option for pain that seems to last the longest out of all the other strains Tegridy Pharmz has tried.

Where does The sweetened phenotype come from?

Sweetened is known by a few different names:Sweetened, Sweet, and Sweet CBD. Unfortunately, no one seems to know where this strain comes from, whoever bred this cultivar did not want to reveal the strains used. However, what we do know from testing and other methods, is that Sweetened’s ancestors are both CBD prevalent strains with finite amounts of Delta 9 THC.

The Sweet Profile.

True to its name, the Sweet CBD strain brings hard-hitting sweetness to the table. With a nose of  sweet sugar or collection of fruit and candy, Sweetened does  well with a lot of people because of its incredibly attractive  taste. from the start, the flowers themselves can be very engaging to the senses, enveloping the nostrils in a sweet aromatic sense. The terpene profile is complex, rich in pinene and myrcene, both have direct influences on how this hemp flower feels. Sweetened has a perfect balance of energizing and sedating properties that will not leave you feeling groggy or spaced out.

α-pinene

the presence of pinene in cannabis goes well above pure smell alone. The molecule can actually rule the way the high of a strain feels and how robust it is. For this reason, pinene and other terpenes are as important as cannabinoid quantity for many smokers when selecting a cultivar  to enjoy or use as medication. For example, pinene is known to increase alertness; however, the terpene myrcene is known to have more of a soothing or calming effect effect. Pinene has also been identified to mitigate the potential short-term memory loss, that is generally  brought on by taking in too much THC. It can also help to contest negative emotions, such as paranoia. For this logic pinene is a fundamental terpene, that should be considered for people who appreciate the therapeutic effects of cannabis, but are hassled  with high THC flower potential flaws. Pinene, has also been identified to be a very powerful anti-inflammatory and pain reliever.

Myrcene

One of the most familiar terpenes found in cannabis is myrcene. Apart from cannabis, myrcene is found in hops and is culpable for the peppery, spicy, balsam aroma in beer. Myrcene has been used in traditional medicine for centuries.  medicines containing myrcene have a long past of being used as a sleep aid in historical as well as traditional medicine. It is what is responsible for the sedating (couch lock) effect that are in some cannabis flowers. Not only can it help with sleep but myrcene also has pain relieving and anti anxiety properties. This is why it is one of the most commonly found terpenes in cannabis. Leafly.com states that: ” The first published claim for myrcene reducing pain was generated in 1990 by scientists in Brazil. They concluded that myrcene reduced pain by increasing the brain and spinal cord’s own opioid chemicals.”.  Although, highly debated myrcene does seem to have some well known pain relieving attributes.
